I create my classes based on the individuals needs and make the practice available for everyone. We have fun, learn a little about our bodies and start your yoga journey at your own pace.
I teach my classes so anyone can do the sequences. Both the Beginner and the advanced student. I start with a mediation, warmup, breathing, the routine and end with mediation. I always include the following: Toes, Hip and wrist stretches.
A typical class is largely dependent on the person(s), if you have a specific flexibility goal/pose you'd like to achieve we can work on that. If you want to improve ROM in a certain part of your body we can work on that. If you want to focus on relieving stress and creating calm, we can focus on that. I believe in being adaptable and open, and am always willing to learn to delight my students.
My classes are based on embodied bio-mechanics and can range from gentle, slow Yin-style meditations to more heat-producing Vinyasa Flows, and everywhere in-between! Sequences are inspired by the season, time of day, energy of the student, and phase of the moon.

Sarah likes to teach strong, powerful flow classes, and restorative yin classes. Balance is key! An emphasis on awareness of breath is a key feature of any class taught by Sarah, and modifying poses in order to encourage healthy alignment and natural breath is a vital aspect of her methodology.

I focus on movement as medicine, balancing the physical with the mental and spiritual benefits of the practice. We use strength to build the stability for our joints, and deep stretching to release tension in our connective tissue. Meditation is used as a tool to get the yogis to deepen the connection within themselves.

I like to include a variety of yoga styles such as Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, Iyengar and Chair Yoga when necessary. I can customize a session to suit the individual or the class as a whole.
I believe everyone has a unique yoga journey and I would value the opportunity to teach individuals and groups. I enjoy teaching a strong vinyasa flow with variations and modifications. I also teach yin classes and a modified Ashtanga primary series.
My methodology depends on the clients wants and needs. There are many different class styles I can offer for example: -vinyasa flow -beginner flow -deep stretch -yin -yang -yang yin -a focus on binds, balances, breathing/meditation and so on. Being a personal trainer I can also include fused classes with more of a variety of yoga incorporating fitness.
My focus is on safety first, learning body/mind awareness to prevent injury. Adapting yoga to my students abilities and needs.
I believe every individual and group have a different set of needs. I tailor my classes to fit the needs of the students and am a firm believer in meeting a client where they are in their practice, mind, and body.
I create my class around the needs of my client. ( I consider the age, the level of my students and their previous experiences). The class is accompanied by a musical background. The class will start with 20-25 minutes of warm -up, following 25 -30 minutes of active poses where we concentrate on flexibility, balance, and strength, for than finished with 10 -15 minutes of relaxation.

I teach Vinyasa flows with music and I try to have an all-level teaching style, while always working towards a peak pose.
You can expect Lindsay’s classes vary from creative, fluid vinyasa flows to classical hatha, focused technical instruction, thoughtful yin and deep slow flows. Lindsay teaches her classes from her heart, creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to explore and expand within their own body and consciousness.
I use the tools of yoga to help you get out of pain and back to doing all of the activities you love. You will learn about how your body was designed to move, and how your movement has become compensated. The sessions are all about what you need in the moment to move towards your desired goals. As your movement improves, your pain, strain and tension will reduce.

My teaching methods are working with the client. This means being flexible and accomodating to each individuals interests and personal circumstances. There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to yoga so by using a yoga therapy approach, I can help support the clients needs.
I am very focused on foundational strength and proper alignment. My background in gymnastics has given me a wealth of knowledge in this area. I spent three years coaching gymnastics, so I am comfortable assisting and adjusting students. That being said, I also view yoga as a personal journey and I believe listening to our bodies is the most important thing we can do.
My yoga class is not just about physical exercise. I threat the spiritual side of yoga into my classes. My students love my classes because they are relaxing, empowering and energising. We will first meet and discuss your daily routine over a delicious cup of tea, health state and any injuries you might have to ensure a safe and suitable level of class as well as a preference in style of yoga. I generally teach my students traditional Hatha Vinyasa, Yin (gentle and slow) or a combination of Yin and Yang poses with elements of Ashtanga.
I like to keep breathing-focused practice. My goal is to help you connect your mind and body and create balance. While connecting to your breath, I will guide you in gaining strength and flexibility. The sessions will be tailored to your requests and draw influence from different style of yoga.
With influences of Somatics and Taichi, Somachi gets us to understand the connection of inner space (identity) and outer space (environment) and breathe properly with intention. The classes range from slow flow to restorative with a focus on fluid transitions.
