About Aaron
Hi, I’m Aaron — a biomedical engineering student at the University at Buffalo with a passion for both science and teaching. I’m currently on the pre-med track, so I spend a lot of time studying biology, chemistry, and advanced math — and even more time figuring out how to explain those subjects clearly to others. I’ve always believed that the best way to learn is to truly understand the “why” behind each concept. That’s why I approach tutoring with patience, real-world examples, and a focus on intuition. I know what it feels like to struggle through tough subjects, and I love helping students gain confidence and clarity where things once felt confusing. Outside of academics, I enjoy working with my hands, playing sports, and finding ways to connect learning with everyday life.

As a tutor, I focus on helping students truly understand the material — not just memorize it. I break down complex topics using simple, relatable explanations, often starting with real-world analogies and building up to more advanced concepts. My approach is interactive, visual, and focused on pattern recognition and intuitive learning.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of what the student already knows, then we walk through new material using step-by-step problem solving. I encourage questions throughout and finish each session with a few challenge problems that reinforce the day’s topic.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain things in a way that actually sticks. I’m a biomedical engineering student preparing for med school, so I know what it’s like to wrestle with tough STEM topics — and I’ve developed techniques that make them click.
My lessons are ideal for high school and early college students in algebra, pre-calc, calculus, biology, and foundational chemistry — especially those preparing for STEM degrees or struggling to connect with textbook-style teaching.
