About Alyona
English has always been my best subject at school. As a student myself, I know perfectly well how stressful and overwhelming GCSEs can be. My aim is not only to help students improve their exam technique but also to give them the confidence they need. I am confident that I can show other fellow students that English isn't just about stacks of annotated poems and texts, but that it can also be fun and interesting.

-I have tutored various friends and classmates recently for their English Language/literature GCSE retake exam.
-My lessons are aimed at GCSE students aged 14-16.
-My teaching methodology is based around helping students dig deeper into poetry or unseen extracts which will in turn help them improve at analysing texts and reading 'between the lines'
-I focus on literary devices and the overall meaning the author tries to convey
