About Vinita
I have 4 years of experience tutoring students in grades K-12 in mathematics (ranging anywhere from elementary math up to Algebra II). I additionally have 3 years of experience tutoring college level students in Financial and Managerial Accounting principles. Because of this experience I feel comfortable in my ability to tutor students of all ages. Very often, students learn in different ways. Some are visual, some are numbers people, and some have a technique of their own. Not to worry. Anyone can become a math expert if they know the rules of the game and I know how to teach that. All I ask is that you put in the same amount of effort that I will and we will make a great team!

I always like to start every new session by getting an understanding of what YOU are currently struggling with. Then we would go through a series of problems so that I can gauge up to which level you feel comfortable with the material. From there we will directly focus on the work you need help with so as to not waste time reviewing concepts that you already understand. At the end of the session, I will do a quick review and gives some tips and tricks on how you can be more efficient when answering questions. From there we can set some short and long term goals for the next sessions.
