About Astrid
Hello, my name is Astrid, and I would love to work with you! I grew up in a house with three siblings, so I am very used to helping out with homework. I really enjoy tutoring because I love meeting new people, being helpful, and especially making the learning experience enjoyable for the student. When I was in school, I also had tutors, and I found the experience very helpful. From my own experience, I learned that sessions are most effective when there is a good connection between the tutor and the student, and when the student enjoys the time spent learning. With that in mind, I always strive to make my classes both enjoyable and efficient!

Hi,
My name is Astrid, and I graduated from an international school where the focus was mainly on the student and their individual way of working. I bring this approach to my tutoring sessions by adapting to each student’s needs and using a method that suits them best (whether theory-based, question-based, or discussion-based).
I graduated with a bilingual diploma and speak both English and French fluently. I would love to help students improve their French by engaging in conversations to strengthen their speaking skills!
I also completed my IGCSEs, with Sports Science as one of my subjects. Currently, I am a student-athlete studying biotechnology. I am very passionate about the subject (I scored 99% in my IGCSE exam) and would love to help others with it as well.
