I beleive in well structured lessons. repetition is key but fun is never away from my classes. If it is not fun, it is not worth it. My typical class is structured around learning and producing while having fun and sharing.
My teaching method is really flexible. I always adapt to my students. Some want a very well structured course, some prefer to take it as it comes. So it depends on your needs and desires. I think that only the result is important, whatever the way we take. That is why I adapt my teaching method to my students' expectations.
I believe the best way to learn a language is through customization. I like to understand the student's needs, goals and motives. I like to find out first why they need to learn the language and what are their strengths and the areas they would like to improve. Having identified the needs, I can then adapt my material to help them achieve their goals.
I base my lessons on where the student is at. My sessions are structured depending on the individual goals of each student. When possible, I incorporate French oral language games into lessons to make them more engaging for the student.
My teaching methods are: -differentiating instruction focused on using the right resources and explaining the concept in a way that satisfies the academic needs of each individual student; -using one-on-one intervention on reading and writing that enables the students to recognize the different syllables in a word and connect them together to have a meaningful understanding of the...
My teaching method is based on the assessment of the level & needs of the students first. Once, I have established the key points of what is required to help improve the confident & ability of the students to get where he needs to be.
I understand that everyone learns differently, and I adapt to each student's needs accordingly. If a student needs more time learning a certain concept, I make sure to spend extra time on that concept with them to ensure they understand and can then move forward in their learning with confidence.
I try to be a fun teacher and use humor the most I can. I try to make exemples that are easy to get and close to my students. A new language can be tough to learn (french has so many grammar exceptions ...), that is why I focus on creating a stimulating class oriented on conversation and understanding. In my class, you will learn how to speak fluently and write.
I am working with each student and tailor lessons that will develop their full potential. I reflect on feedback and adapt continuously my method, cognitive or constructive, finding out how my student learns the best (auditive, visually or in action).
Each student is different based on their background and their way of learning. From primary school students to adults, my classes cater to the student(s). Depending on their level of French and the area of concentration desired (comprehension, oral, writing, grammar, etc.), the class outlines will be created & modified to better suit each individual student.
Bonjour, my name is Marjorie and I have been teaching French for foreigners for 8 years. I like working with quick methods so that students can express themselves and communicate faster. My classes are tailor-made, always aiming to reach the level sought by the student.
The student approach learning is a method the student to learn easily. I used this method successfully. The teacher's primary role is to facilitate student learning and comprehension of material and to measure student learning through both formal and informal forms of assessments.
I focus on the students' needs and work on their weaknesses. I cater my lessons to help the students excel in their classes and exams. Every lesson is specifically designed according to the students' needs.
First of all, I assess the student learning capabilities and what is the best way to approach him with my teaching skills. Not all student learn the same way and each of them has their own way of adapting. I mainly focus on giving each of them individual attention to better understand and evaluating them.
I typically work one-on-one with people. It's easier to assess and understand people's levels and come up with personalized study plans that way. Classes will be organized in different parts depending on what the learner is looking for. The basic structure is refresh (when a previous lesson is involved), theory and practice. If you do not like homework, I might not be a good match.
I have been working with the GECDSB for 3 years, often filling in for sick and maternity leaves for high school French and English teachers. I bring a lively, creative work ethic to the many problems posed when learning to communicate effectively in another language.
I currently work for a tutoring agency that caters to elementary and secondary students. However, I would be delighted to work with older individuals as well - it is never too late to learn! My tutoring style varies depending on the student.
My teaching methods are finding the strengths and weaknesses of a student and being able to express new ways of finding a solution to help the student ease through the problem areas. I base my classes off of what the student needs more practice with and exercising their mind leisurely and with new and exciting strategies.
-I provide a calm and friendly learning environment -I make games, worksheets, and conversation in French -I gear the session to meet your needs and learning style help you learn -I help students stay on track and encourage them to speak and grow in French
My Tutoring Methods are, I Put my students at ease by Creating a Safe Tutoring Environment, I focus a lot on the similarities between French and English. Very soon my students will discover how French is Meaningful to Them.
My role as an educator is to make the student understand, react and take action. To that end, I believe that all students are capable of learning, albeit at different rates and at different motivation levels. A good educator is one to bring out the best out of all students. At the beginning of the school year, I set the tone for the class with my expectations in a fair and clear manner.
My methods often involve adding competitive edge to games; actively participating by completing tasks on the whiteboard/written excersies , all of which increases engagement. My focus in on grammar as this forms the foundation of the language.
My approach to learning French is friendly supportive and fun! I want my students to enjoy learning and feel confident to express themselves in French as we progress. I use games, songs rhymes poetry and music to meet the needs of every child. Ensuring they experience success and love learning.
I try to bring outside events into my teaching wherever possible. I have been active all all levels of day school and have taught adult classes. I believe in adequate practic and analying the material. I helped my own children throughout their education, including university.
I base my classes on Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. I love interacting with students and I'm very flexible and considerate of different learning styles. This is meant for High school level and above. I'm also available to help if you are already in a French course.
My teaching methods are based on student's individual personality and communication styles, I adapt my approach to the needs of my students instead of the opposite. I have a transparent approach with my students and build my curriculum on their actual needs instead of having a universal curriculum for everyone.
My classes depend on the need of the customer/student. Initially, I would do a needs analysis of the student to really hone in on the critical needs, then develop from there. In terms of methodolgy, my teaching is very much student-centred.
Anyone who would like to improve their French or need help understand something is welcome. I am very patient and would love to share my knowledge. My method is simple. Assess the learner - Determine which position he/she is - Set goals - Helps achieve the goals.
I pace the sessions to suit your learning style and we make sure to explore the concepts that you lack in greater depth. My private sessions will also involve intensive oral practice to guarantee faster progress. My sessions are fun, stimulating, engaging, and interactive with a focus on theory but with a high priority on conversational learning.
