About Maija
I have a Master of Fine Arts degree and have taught art and design in many colleges and universities as well as worked as a professional artist for over twenty years. I have exhibited my work in numerous galleries and institutions. In addition to my teaching and fine art practice, my writings concerning contemporary art have been published by notable publications.

Do you want to learn how to draw perspective or to become better at understanding how to make compelling compositions? Do you want to learn how to paint with oil or acrylic? Do you struggle with making abstract art? I can help you with all of that. I have taught art for many years in several universities and colleges and know the techniques and methodologies that can start your artistic journey or strengten your already excisting skills. My goal as a teacher is to identify each students strenghts and help them hone on their already existing knowledge and ultimatelt help them grow as creatives.
