About Andrea
Master of Music from the Bolívar University Institution of Fine Arts and Sciences, with 13 years of piano and musical experience. Winner of the first Czerny festival held at UNIBAC under the teaching of Cuban teacher Olga Ponce Caballero. He belonged to the Free Voices Gospel Choir performing as a soprano and to the Bolívar Symphony Orchestra in 2015 as a pianist. That same year he traveled with the OSB to Mompox as part of the Jazz Festival accompanied by Maestro Alfredo De La Fe and the Free Voices Choir. He has performed concerts in various stages of the city such as the Adolfo Mejía Theater, the Presentation Museum, Tecnar and Unibac. In 2017 and 2018 he has participated in the workshops for the creation of unconventional instruments and the creation of bagpipes within the International Music Festival of the city of Cartagena. He traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina in July 2017 with his teacher Pablo Almarales, a magister in music research and two other fellow students who received scholarships from UNIBAC and the Fundación El Tiempo y el Sonido Internacional within the MOZART: 18th Course, Contest and 2017 improvement scholarship for pianists from Argentina and Latin American countries. He has received master classes from Colombian Master Helvia Mendoza, Semyón Vlásov, Russian pianist, and Ricardo Zanón and Daniel Goldstein, Argentine pianists.

My teaching method is totally pedagogical based on the needs and requirements of each student. The focus you want to receive will be given. Classical, contemporary, Latin music. I have a special study plan focused on each student. I work the Bastien and Suzuki methodology.
