About Connor
My name is Connor Bohn and I am a composer, pianist, and peer educator based in Chicago. I work on campus at my college’s tutoring center as a music theory tutor for fellow music students. Here, I completed a full semester peer educator theory and practice training where Iearned important skills regarding adult education, working with diverse populations, Socratic methods, and the role of a tutor. I value a holistic and compassionate music education and love working with individual students to realize their goals.

As a teacher and tutor I value each students individual goals, and the finding the teaching method that will most effectively support them and their growth. I am happy to help prepare students for the AP music theory exam, provide supplemental guidance on class work, or teach and talk about contemporary as well as historical methods of composition/harmony/theory, whether for school and extracurriculars, or just exploring a students interests or personal work. I instruct beginner and intermediate piano lessons as well as teaching digital production and composition using ableton live.
