I am a piano teacher with over 14 years of experience, holding a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano. I specialize in helping students prepare for music exams, college auditions, and professional gigs. My teaching style is personalized to each student’s needs, ensuring they build the skills and confidence required to succeed. I focus on making lessons motivating and enjoyable, so students stay inspired throughout their journey. Whether you’re aiming for an important exam or a live performance, I tailor my approach to help you reach your goals. My piano teaching approach is designed to prepare students for performances, competitions, and recordings with confidence and skill. I focus on developing good posture to help prevent tension and improve playing endurance. Phrasing is key—I teach how to shape musical lines so the music feels expressive and alive. Stage presence is also important; I guide students to connect with their audience and perform with poise.
For students working on recordings, I introduce digital tools like DAWs and audio analysis apps to help refine their sound. This hands-on experience builds technical skills alongside musicality. I tailor lessons to support those aiming to excel in exams and church music settings, helping them master both technique and interpretation.
My goal is to boost each student’s confidence through focused practice and positive feedback. I encourage steady progress and celebrate achievements, big or small. Together, we work on building a strong musical foundation and performance skills. Every lesson is practical, clear, and motivating. I believe with the right guidance, every student can shine on stage and in the studio.
