About Aviva
I’m a piano teacher with over 7 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Piano Performance. My passion is helping students connect deeply with music on an emotional level. I believe that music is not just about notes, but about expressing feelings and telling stories. Alongside nurturing this connection, I focus on building strong foundations in music theory and technique. Every lesson is tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are beginners or advanced players. I work closely with students to develop their skills step by step, making sure they understand the ‘why’ behind the music. Technique is important, but so is creativity and personal expression. I encourage my students to explore their unique voice through the piano. I also emphasise the importance of good practice habits and a positive mindset. Music should be enjoyable, and I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you want to perform, compose, or simply play for fun, I’m here to help you reach your goals.
