About Giselle

With 8 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Studies, I bring a mindful and holistic approach to piano instruction. I believe that learning music is not just about technique but also about cultivating calm and focus. That’s why I integrate mindfulness and relaxation techniques into every lesson, helping students create a balanced and enjoyable practice routine. Many of my students have found this approach especially helpful in managing stage anxiety and performing with confidence. I encourage gentle progress, nurturing both musical skills and emotional well-being. My teaching style is patient and supportive, tailored to meet each student’s unique needs. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on helping learners build musical fluency right from the very first lesson. I emphasize finger independence through targeted exercises, making sure each finger gains strength and control. Reading fluency is key, so I guide students to recognize notes and rhythms quickly, turning sheet music into music they can play confidently. Real-time rhythm training helps develop a strong sense of timing and groove, essential for all styles. I also include duet playing to encourage listening skills, teamwork, and musical conversation.
