About Felicity
As a passionate and dedicated piano teacher, my journey with music began at a young age, fueled by a deep love for the piano's expressive potential and its ability to convey emotion and creativity. With three years of experience in teaching piano, I have developed a teaching style that blends technical rigor with artistic exploration, aimed at nurturing both proficiency and a deep appreciation for music.
My approach to teaching is rooted in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel inspired to explore their musical abilities. I believe in tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs and aspirations of each student, whether they are beginners discovering the joy of playing or advanced pianists refining their technique and interpretation.
In my lessons, I emphasize a balanced curriculum that includes fundamental techniques such as scales, finger exercises, and sight-reading, as well as exploring a diverse repertoire ranging from classical masterpieces to jazz standards and contemporary pieces. This approach not only strengthens technical skills but also encourages creativity and musical expression.

In my piano lessons, I focus on creating a personalized and engaging learning environment tailored to the unique needs and goals of each student. This dual focus ensures that students not only build a strong technical foundation but also develop their own musical voice.
My lessons are designed to be interactive and dynamic, incorporating a variety of teaching methods to keep students motivated and involved. Whether working on scales, arpeggios, and technical exercises to improve finger strength and dexterity, or diving into improvisation and jazz standards, I strive to make each session enjoyable and productive. By integrating music theory and ear training into our lessons, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the music they play, which enhances their overall musicianship.
I believe that music education should be a holistic experience, so I encourage students to explore a wide range of repertoire.
