About Saanvi

Hi students! My name is Saanvi and I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Public Health and Statistics & Data Science. I have a passion for math and am extremely eager to help students unlock their potential in these subjects. I have a strong foundation in algebra, geometry, and statistics and I have honed my skills through both coursework and practical applications, allowing me to explain complex concepts in a relatable and engaging manner. My goal is not just to help you succeed academically but to give you an appreciation for these subjects. Whether you're struggling with quadratic equations or seeking to grasp the fundamentals of standardized testing, I'm here to provide personalized support tailored to your unique learning style. About the lesson

My tutoring approach is rooted in patience, flexibility, and building confidence. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching methods to fit each learner’s unique pace and style. Whether it’s visual examples, real-world applications, or step-by-step breakdowns, I focus on making complex math and statistics concepts feel clear and approachable.

A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in to see where the student is at—whether it's reviewing homework, prepping for a test, or tackling a tricky concept. From there, I guide the student through targeted practice, encourage active problem-solving, and pause frequently for questions. I always end the session with a recap and a plan for what to work on next.

What sets me apart is how much I care about creating a supportive space. I’ve helped students move from feeling overwhelmed to feeling empowered—raising grades, building study habits, and developing genuine confidence in math. I earned a 5 on the AP Statistics exam and have worked with students from elementary school through high school in subjects like Algebra I, Pre-Algebra, Geometry, and Intro Stats.

My lessons are best suited for K–12 students, AP students, or college freshmen who need extra support in introductory math or statistics. Whether you're struggling to keep up or aiming to get ahead, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward.
