About Yichen

I have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering major. But languages are my favorite field. I love teaching others languages and learn from other foreign languages. I enjoy spending time with students and share my knowledge with them. I have taught some Chinese words to my American friends before. But I haven't give them any lessons yet.

About the lesson

I can use some Chinese handmade product to teach my students about the culture. I can use Chinese music with my flute to tell my students how the history of China. There are also a lot of Chinese legendary stories that my students can watch and learn about simple Chinese oral expression. I can also teach them some Chinese songs with the lyrics that they can understand. Introduce Chinese culture by showing some Chinese movie to them.

So for high school student, my rate can be about 20 dollars per hour. For undergraduate student, my rate can be about 20-30 depends on how much they want to learn about the culture. For graduate student, my rate can be around 30-35 dollars. Coming to my place won't increase any rate.
