About Aubrey
I’m here to help shape it into music. Whether it’s easing stage fear, releasing hand tension, or building musical confidence, I meet each learner where they are. Some students crave structure, others seek freedom, and many are simply looking for a space to express themselves. My approach blends daily finger workouts with creative play, helping students build strength and ease in their hands. We work on phrase shaping and lyrical expression to turn notes into feeling. For those who struggle with rhythm, I use visual cues and body-based practice to make sight-reading more natural and fun. I’ve supported adults rediscovering piano after years away, and young creatives exploring music as a tool for emotional storytelling. Together, we break things down, take the pressure off, and find joy in progress. I use gentle guidance, supportive feedback, and flexible tools like apps or improvisation games.

I'm a piano tutor with 5 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Piano Emphasis. My mission is to make piano learning accessible, playful, and deeply meaningful for students of all ages and backgrounds. I specialize in adapting my teaching to fit the unique needs of each learner, including neurodiverse students and those with ADHD or learning differences.
My lessons are flexible and responsive—sometimes we’ll move around, use color-coded visuals, or explore interactive apps to spark understanding. I believe that every student deserves a learning space that feels joyful, encouraging, and safe. Whether we’re working on technique, music theory, or expressive playing, I tailor each lesson to the student’s pace and personality.
Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful music can be in building confidence and focus. I work closely with families to support consistent progress and engagement. Creativity and curiosity are always welcome at the piano bench.
