About Aria
For over 4 years, I have had the privilege of teaching piano to students across all levels, from beginners to professional classical pianists. My foundation is a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance with a Pedagogy focus, giving me both technical knowledge and teaching expertise. In lessons, I emphasize sight-reading fluency, score analysis, and expressive interpretation of complex works. My approach blends structure with creativity, ensuring growth without sacrificing joy. I adapt lessons to the unique goals and needs of every student. Along the way, we explore music history and theory, which enrich understanding and deepen performance. I also incorporate finger exercises and technical drills to build strength and agility. Period performance practices are introduced to honor the traditions of the repertoire. I take pride in helping students develop not just skill, but a genuine connection to the music. My teaching style is warm, flexible, and supportive. My teaching philosophy is simple: build strong foundations, then expand with creativity. Classical piano remains at the core, with emphasis on sight-reading, technique, and interpretation. At the same time, I bring in modern tools like digital pianos, MIDI, and synthesizers. Students also learn how to use DAWs for recording and creating layered performances. These skills give them freedom to explore and experiment. Recording techniques are introduced so they can capture their sound and grow as performers. For beginners, lessons are gentle and focused. For advanced pianists, I provide challenges that deepen their artistry. Exceptional talents receive extra guidance in exploring the electronic side of piano. This makes performances unique and powerful. Every lesson balances discipline with creativity. The result is growth not just as a pianist, but as a complete musician. Together, we make piano learning inspiring and meaningful.
