About Elijah

I have more than 9 years of experience teaching singing to students of all levels. Many of my students prepare for school music exams, college competitions, and talent auditions. I help them get ready step by step — from voice practice to stage performance. We focus on accuracy, expression, and confidence. I guide students in singing Bollywood songs, classical light music, and devotional pieces. I also offer feedback on presentation, voice modulation, and audience engagement. For exam students, I help with syllabus planning, song selection, and practical tests. For performers, I offer mock rehearsals and tips on how to handle stage fear. My goal is to make you performance-ready, confident, and proud of your musical ability.

About the lesson

My vocal coaching method is centered around the principle that every voice has value, and every singer deserves the tools and encouragement to express themselves fully. I use an integrative approach that blends technique, musical understanding, and emotional depth. We begin with careful assessment of the student’s vocal ability, posture, breath habits, and confidence level.

Early sessions are focused on creating awareness of how the body and voice work together. I guide students through foundational techniques like diaphragmatic breathing, alignment, tone placement, and gentle warmups tailored to their needs. These are introduced in ways that connect directly to the music they love—whether it’s pop, musical theatre, indie, jazz, or classical. I bring flexibility into every lesson, responding to the student’s energy, mental state, and vocal condition that day. No two sessions are exactly the same. I encourage artistic expression through exercises like improvisation, character exploration, and genre interpretation. Emotional honesty and authenticity are just as important as technical precision.

I help students unlock the stories behind the songs, turning each performance into a meaningful experience for both the singer and the listener. Collaboration is also vital—students participate in setting goals, choosing repertoire, and evaluating their own growth. I believe in transparency and open feedback: students always know where they are and where they’re headed. Along with singing, I teach skills like lyric writing, audition preparation, stage presence, and musical self-care. My approach aims to nurture singers who are not only skilled performers but confident, thoughtful, and connected individuals with a lifelong love of music.
