About Julien
I return this year in the first year of engineering cycle at Centrale Lyon (Ecully Campus). My mother is American, and having lived 4 years in Canada from 4 to 8 years, English (American) is the first language I learned. My goal is to be a professor in higher education, and have acquired during my two years of preparation a methodology and an effective pedagogy for learning. Language level C2, 990/990 to the TOEIC. At the entrance exams of the grandes écoles, I had the following marks in the oral tests: Mines: 20 CCP: 20 Written examinations: Mines: 18 CCP: 17

I approach language classes freely. According to the desires and needs of the student (oral comprehension, writing, oral expression, writing) a discussion will be undertaken based on either a written document, a media document, or a subject of which the student has want to speak. For the work of the writing, the work of understanding will be done by reading short texts and by questions of understanding that I will ask directly to the student. The work of the expression will be done by writing short essays on a subject of my choice, with the support of a media or written document, which will then be corrected. During these exercises, I will be available for any vocabulary / grammar / syntax questions that the student will have. at the request of the student, any discussion can be done in English, not only the one concerning the exercises, in order to favor a total immersion.
