About Noelle

Hey there! I'm a native speaker of both Cantonese and Mandarin, born and raised in Hong Kong. I also had the incredible opportunity to live in Taiwan for a year and really soak up the local culture. But hey, my adventures didn't stop there! I've also spent time exploring Australia and Southeast Asia, and now I'm living in the UK and working with secondary school students. As an enthusiastic traveller, I absolutely love immersing myself in different cultures and believe that learning foreign languages is the key to unlocking amazing experiences. With my background as a qualified social worker and facilitator, I've got loads of experience delivering lively and interactive sessions both online and in-person. So, in my lessons, get ready to not just be a student, but also a cultural exchanger on a fantastic journey!

With over 5 years of tutoring experience and teaching support experience in school, I offer tailored lessons to Cantonese and Mandarin learners aiming to enhance their listening, speaking, writing, and reading skills in real-life situations. Each lesson typically lasts for 1 hour, during which I employ a methodology that includes a personalized teaching plan, multimedia materials, classwork, daily exercises, and outdoor activities.
