About Erik

I am a retired college professor with 40 years experience in the public and private sectors, with teaching experience at the K-12, undergraduate and graduate levels. I also tutored American English as a second language in Germany, as well as many different subjects K-12 in Laguna Beach and surrounding areas.

About the lesson

This will depend on the student and the subject area. The primary approach will be working through problems together with the student to enhance understanding and develop capability. I prefer high school students or older, but will take middle school students as well, depending on circumstances.

Gabe is a great student, bright, ambitious, and hardworking. I enjoyed my time with him at the library and picked up a few pointers on business statistics myself in the process.
