About Nuralisa
I meet students where they are, and get them to where they want to be. Each lesson is crafted with the student firmly in mind, and is designed to meet the standards and requirements of the curriculum. Lessons are heavily interactive, with a focus on open, honest, and supportive communication to ensure that the student's needs are being met. Lesson plans are discussed with the parents or guardian on a schedule that suits their needs. If needed, the lesson plan may include homework help, and reviewing of past exam papers. Parents of younger students may contact me to discuss lesson plans that more heavily involve fun and creativity, to keep the little ones happy while giving them a head start.

I've been teaching students - and tutoring my peers - for my entire academic career, and each session I've led has only ever cemented the belief that there's always a little more to be unlocked, an extra bit of potential to be uncovered.
I believe that tutoring - and a good tutor - does not only improve academic grades and command of a subject, but can also build confidence, improve communication skills, and even inspire new hobbies and interests.
On top of my tutoring experience, I also have three years of experience with child caretaking, which has taught me some tips and tricks for keeping younger students focused and invested in their lessons. Lessons for younger children may include crafts, story-telling, and introduction to German.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
Kak Lisa is a supportive and patient tutor who has taught me subjects such as addmath and physics, and even helped me with my university assignments.
When working on assignments together, it’s an interactive process of critically assessing the assignment. We discuss the little details of the assignment, the major objectives, and how to get started on the assignment in general. Through the discussion, it gives me ideas of how I should work on my assignments and after it’s done, Kak Lisa proof reads and gives me feedback on my writing.
In my opinion, I would really recommend Kak Lisa as a private tutor. As someone who used to struggle a lot with education, Kak Lisa would always support me throughout and would never let her frustrations show if it took me a while to understand a concept or if I had difficulty with a math question. She’s also very compassionate as she gives me plenty of words of encouragement and stops me from doubting myself.I met Lisa by chance at an ice skating rink and during our conversation, I mentioned I was preparing for a final math exam. She shared that she was a tutor, and I decided to give it a try.
Despite the random start, her teaching turned out to be exactly what I needed. She explained concepts clearly, focused on the areas I struggled with, and helped me develop better problem-solving techniques.
As a result, I managed to pass my final exam with a score that was noticeably better than my previous results. Her tutoring was efficient, well-structured, and tailored to my needs. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and effective academic support.View more recommendations
