About Martin
I'm a Biomedical Sciences graduate who, since graduation, has worked in both the scientific industry and as a private tutor, with my primary focuses being Biology and Chemistry. Given how rewarding I find teaching to be, I've begun redirecting my focus towards that aspect over this past year, and I plan to tutor as much as I'm able while I continue to train as a teaching assistant.

I tend to teach in a very individual-focused way, so normally I'd begin with a discussion of where the student feels they are within the given topic, any areas they struggle with, what they find they connect with, and so on. I then plan subsequent lessons that cover the whole topic, but are tailored to give more time to areas the student is less certain about, ensuring there's time for questions, and applying things like visual representations to help inspire that "lightbulb moment".
