About Kristen
I'm a Buffalo native, Georgetown University and SUNY Buffalo grad with degrees in Psychology (BA) and Neuroscience (MS). I've been an academic tutor since 2014 for mathematics, English and reading comprehension, biology, chemistry, earth science, and GRE prep. I've tutored at Georgetown, for independent clients, and through varsity tutors as a contractor in the past.

My teaching style focuses on repetition, comprehension, and lots of practice problems. I've tutored a wide age range of students (grades kindergarten- 12th), as well as students preparing for the GRE. I'm skilled at tutoring math for those ages excluding calculus, and all sciences offered to students in those ages. I'm very experienced in tutoring the GRE and have seen real results with my students and their scores.
