While I studied at USC, I also played D1 soccer for 4 years. I am continuing my career in soccer by playing professionally for the Chicago Red Stars. In my free time, I enjoy tutoring, reading, going to the lake, or exploring new parts of the city.

As a teacher, I think it is important to build a connection with your students, so they enjoy coming to each session. I usually start by getting to know each student by learning about their hobbies/interests as well as any strengths or weaknesses they have in a particular topic. I always teach at a slow pace and move forward when I know my student can confidently solve the problems on their own and have a good understanding of the topic. In any lesson, I like to use real-life examples and explanations to familiarize students with concepts before moving forward into teaching applications and principles. When students understand real-life examples, they logically work through problems instead of relying on technique and application.
