About Abhishek
Greetings students! I'm thrilled to join you all this year as your new Social Science teacher. Please, call me Mr. Raj. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
I graduated top of my class from Indira Gandhi National Open University a few years back ! Since then, I've been tirelessly pursuing my passion for making history, civics, geography, and economics come alive for students like yourselves. For the past 3 years, I've had the pleasure of teaching middle schoolers.
My favorite unit is always our economics simulation where we turn the classroom into a mini-city and you all get to take on jobs, open businesses, and manage money. The debates we have about political issues are also pretty lively! I'm always impressed by your ideas.
When I'm not prepping engaging Social Science lessons or evaluating projects, you can usually find me volunteering at the local events, playing guitar, cricket with friends, or searching for new strategies to make learning interactive.
My goal as your teacher is to equip each of you with the knowledge, critical thinking ability, and enthusiasm to become an informed, responsible citizen who feels empowered to shape our society. I want you to get hands-on with our content through activities, field trips, discussions, and more.
