About Hazel
I’m a vocal coach with 9 years of experience and a BFA in Vocal Arts and Opera. I specialise in helping singers build confidence, overcome performance anxiety, and connect deeply with their music. My focus is contemporary worship and gospel music, while Pop, Indie, and R&B are also part of my teaching repertoire. Breath control, expressive phrasing, vocal health, and live performance skills are central to every lesson. I work with shy beginners, teen worship leaders, and aspiring recording artists, helping each student grow at their own pace. Congregational singing is one of my strengths, ensuring students feel comfortable leading others. Every lesson is personalised to meet individual goals. Singing is both a technical skill and a spiritual journey. I emphasise emotion, expression, and confidence alongside technique. Lessons are engaging, inspiring, and tailored to each voice. My teaching approach helps singers develop accurate pitch and strong ear skills. You will learn to identify intervals and harmonise confidently. Lessons include exercises for ear training, melodic dictation, and chord recognition. Advanced teen singers and quartet players see fast improvement. I provide constant feedback to ensure you sing in tune. Each session focuses on building both technical skills and musical confidence. Ear training is integrated into every activity. You will learn to match pitches naturally and sing with ease. Harmonising with others becomes simple as your ear improves. Lessons are tailored to your level and goals. Singing becomes expressive, accurate, and enjoyable. My goal is to help you excel and enjoy the process. Your voice will grow stronger and more confident every week.
