About Katharina
I am an incoming junior studying mathematics and physics at Minerva, one of the world’s most selective universities, and I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. Funny enough, I never imagined studying math until the right teachers helped me fall in love with it. Now I study it full-time, and I would love to help you enjoy and understand it a little more too (even if you never plan to major in it!). In my free time, you usually find me out in nature, cooking something new, planning my next trip, or getting lost in a good novel. I'm excited to meet you and help you feel more confident in math or physics, wherever you're starting from.

I focus on active learning in all my sessions: Each lesson begins with a quick review or explanation of key concepts, followed by guided or independent problem-solving, tailored to your level of understanding. At the end, we would review what we covered and address remaining questions! I’m also happy to answer questions via text before or after the session to ensure everything clicks. :) If you're interested in diving deeper, I can also recommend books, videos, and other study materials matching your goals. I work with students from middle school up to first-year university, and I’m committed to helping you truly understand and have fun with maths.
