About Alisha

I am a Physics tutor with over 6 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Physics, specializing in plasma physics and fusion energy research. My academic and research background has given me a strong foundation in understanding the fourth state of matter and its unique properties. I enjoy guiding students through topics that connect fundamental physics with groundbreaking applications. My focus areas include plasma states, magnetic confinement, and inertial confinement, all of which are central to the global effort toward achieving controlled fusion. These concepts can seem abstract, but I work to explain them clearly, using step-by-step methods and real examples. I believe students learn best when they can see how science is applied to solve major challenges. I have worked with learners interested in energy solutions, space science, and high-energy physics, helping them connect classroom knowledge with cutting-edge ideas. Through problem-based learning, discussions, and visual aids, I show how plasma research is shaping the future of energy and technology. My teaching style balances theory with application, encouraging curiosity while building strong problem-solving skills. Whether your goal is to understand the fundamentals of plasma or explore the challenges of fusion energy, I provide a supportive and engaging learning experience. Together, we will explore the physics that drives innovation in clean energy, space exploration, and advanced technologies. Understanding the fourth state of matter is not only fascinating but also holds the potential to power our future.

My teaching approach in Physics is relaxed, practical, and focused on applications. I believe physics becomes more meaningful when connected to real-world engineering challenges. Instead of only working through abstract equations, I guide students to see how concepts like forces, energy, and motion apply in practice. This makes learning both engaging and useful.

I cover core areas of physics such as mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics, while also extending into engineering-focused topics. These include fluid dynamics, materials science, and statics/dynamics in structures. By linking theory to engineering design, I show how physics principles drive innovation in construction, manufacturing, and technology. Complex topics become easier when we work through real-world problems step by step.

To make sessions more practical, I use examples from industry and engineering design, often framing lessons around case studies or simplified projects. I also provide opportunities to apply computational methods when helpful, supporting learners who enjoy problem-solving through modeling and simulation. My role is to help each student not only understand the fundamentals but also apply them to practical designs and systems. I create a supportive space where questions are encouraged, and every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Together, we will make physics relevant to your engineering career, building skills that last well beyond the classroom.
