I teach by examples and explanations. The best way to learn a subject or concept in my experience is through repetition, especially in sciences or mathematics. It is also very important to remember the simple basics of each subject to provide a full understanding of concepts, therefore I put a strong emphasis on mastering the basics.
I adapt to each student; I usually make people take in a way that they solve the problem, so that they can eventually solve problems themselves. My goal is for them to become independent and truly understand the material at hand.
I don't believe there is a single way to teach a subject that will work optimally for every person.
