My teaching method which has resulted in long-lasting learning for most of my students is to get them involved in the teaching process. For example, when teaching energy-related formulas and solving the questions, instead of me explaining the whole solution, I let the students try different solutions until they get the correct one.
I teach by examples and explanations. The best way to learn a subject or concept in my experience is through repetition, especially in sciences or mathematics. It is also very important to remember the simple basics of each subject to provide a full understanding of concepts, therefore I put a strong emphasis on mastering the basics.
