My teaching method is based on a balanced mix of theory and problem solving. I start my classes with a quick review of the previous lesson, followed by a quick overview of theory required for the topic under consideration. I normally follow this up with a few example problems and then give a few exercises.
I think Active learning is the best teaching methodology. I will not come to the class just to give a lecture. I will come to class to give you the knowledge. I will ask you the question and then you have to find the answer. Every day I will provide you a sheet with some problem before the lecture and then you have to hand it back before the class end.
