About Lauren
I’m a singing tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting, focusing on voice as my main instrument. My lessons are designed to merge strong vocal technique with modern tools like DAWs, vocal processors, and studio microphones. Students work on vocal looping, electronic live performance, and layered vocal arrangements. These skills prepare them for today’s evolving music industry. I work with singers in R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian, providing stylistic flexibility. Lyric interpretation plays a major role in my sessions, helping singers bring songs to life. Tone shaping, harmonies, and phrasing are carefully developed to create expressive performance. I enjoy teaching both hobbyists who sing for joy and aspiring recording artists aiming for professional success. My method is supportive, creative, and focused on building confidence. Each lesson balances technique with artistic exploration. I also encourage students to use technology as a tool for creative growth. My goal is to empower every singer to share their unique musical story. Let’s explore the power of storytelling together through voice and studio creativity.

Group singing is an art of listening, adjusting, and supporting one another. My teaching approach develops these skills through choral singing, vocal blending, sight-reading, and part-singing. Every lesson begins with exercises that tune the ear to the ensemble. I highlight how small changes in pitch and tone can affect overall harmony. I’m very good with The Orchestra Member and The Crossover Artist, guiding them to fit in without losing individuality. Students practise sight-reading together so they can approach new pieces confidently. I also provide drills for balancing across sections like soprano, alto, tenor, and bass. My approach is structured but flexible, adapting to the needs of different groups. Lessons emphasise teamwork and discipline while keeping the joy of singing alive. Each singer learns to contribute to a shared sound. I believe every voice matters in an ensemble. My goal is to help students grow into confident choir members. Singing in harmony is not only musical but also deeply human.
