About Una
Hi! I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I specialize in teaching young children and early teens, using playful, engaging methods that spark a love for music. My lessons are filled with games, movement, and storytelling to help students learn pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics in a fun and natural way. I often use folk songs, Disney tunes, and musical theater pieces that are age-appropriate and exciting for young voices. Through singing, we explore characters, emotions, and creativity while learning healthy technique. I guide students in developing strong listening skills and a good sense of timing. My approach focuses on building confidence and joy in every session. I believe every child has a unique voice worth celebrating. Lessons are interactive and full of energy, designed to make learning feel like play. With a warm and supportive environment, I help children grow as singers and as young musicians. Singing should always feel safe, expressive, and fun—and that’s exactly what I aim to create.

My singing methodology is designed to support vocalists who move between genres—whether performing in a church ensemble or blending classical, pop, and jazz styles on stage. I focus on building strong vocal foundations that allow for flexibility, control, and expressive range. We work on pitch accuracy, breath support, and resonance, adapting each technique to suit the musical style.
For classical pieces, we emphasize tone purity and dynamic control. In jazz, we explore phrasing, improvisation, and fluid articulation. For pop, we focus on emotional delivery, stylistic nuance, and mic technique. Each genre has its own character, and I help students shift comfortably between them while keeping their unique voice.
I integrate modern tools like DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) for recording and self-review. Pitch training apps, metronomes, and digital accompaniment also support daily practice and precise tracking of progress. Lessons are structured yet creative, with room for experimentation and expression.
Whether you're leading worship or crossing genres in performance, I help you refine your sound and strengthen your musical identity.
