I feel it is my responsibility as a pedagogue to impart the knowledge, skills and information needed for students to pursue and accomplish goals, while leading each student to feel comfortable, safe and confident in the learning setting.
As a teacher, I like to find out the music goals of my student and design a plan to accommodate their wishes. In the case of school age children, I would discuss a suitable for them program with parents.
Your classes will be distinct to you. I can instantly identify what your unique issues are and will create a routine for you to do outside of the class. Your classes will include having a personalized warmup guide sent to you each week.
Through my lessons, I try to reach my students with the right balance of personalized attention, patience, practical training, and positive encouragement. I try to focus the lesson on the interests of the student, and within that, find ways to teach all the technical and theoretical elements.
My teaching methods combine what I learnt from Italian bel canto, Vienna vocal techniques, and New York Broadway singing skills. I teach with imagination, anatomy, and body moves and gestures depending on each student's need and what helps most to achieve the goal as well as successfully exploit the technique required at the moment.
I work with singers and writers of all ages. I build upon a student's existing strengths and encourage all the time. I work through each skill sequentially to build success and confidence. I guarantee an enjoyable and successful learning experience.
My teaching methods include a very relaxed lesson, including me showing techniques and having the student repeat what I have showed them. I would love to help the student sing and perfect whatever song/genre interests them-- they get to chose the music! I am just here to guide them in the right direction.
I strongly believe that there is no one size fits all approach to pedagogy and learning. Therefore, I constantly need to know my students backgrounds, ethnicity, cultures, religions and capabilities to provide quality and engaging learning experiences to engage and challenge all students.
My method of teaching involves the following - 1. Duration of the class = 45 minutes to 1 hour 2. Theoretical classes = Depending on the capability of the student 3. Practical classes = 45 minutes to 1 hour 4. The classes are meant for all individuals who have immense interest in learning Carnatic Music.
My teaching methods include informing students of the basics of Music theory, running through fundamental scales on the instrument of choice, as well as catering to the student's desires of what song to perform and provide feedback on. Proper set performing etiquette specifically on how to have amazing stage presence will also be coached.
my methodology is based on how the student picks up the pace. Teaching differs as per need of the student, those who are quick with their pickup advance easily. Music is not about speed but depth. Perfection is more important than quantity in terms of music and this is what i train students the most on.

I believe in strong vocal technique no matter what style of singing you'd like to develop. I also work on song interpretation, presentation skills, audition preparation, monologues and what to do when you get nervous.
My teaching methods are based in the school of Bel Canto, created with the intention of every breath being capable of producing both beautiful melody and efficient diction. I focus predominantly on the breath and the structure of both the body (with emphasis on the chest, diaphragm and shoulders) and the mouth.
