Music lessons should be about serving YOUR individual needs as a student, learning how to supercharge your practice to get the most out of your time, and help you develop independence and flexibility so you can reach your artistic goals with guidance.
I am a very understanding and approachable teacher. I have a lot of experience with kids, and understand that patience is incredibly important. I follow a structured plan, but allow for flexibility with students. I take students' interests and base my lessons according to what they enjoy the most.
The idea of my lessons is to enable children and adults identify their authentic voice and tone, and be comfortable with their idiosyncracies. I derive immense joy seeing young children growing with confidence after each class. A typical class with me starts with assessing improvement with repect to previous class. I use measurable charts, which if used effectively, students can see real results.
For college preparation exams, 'The Barbara Harris' books are a must as they cover all aspects of basic rudiments in one source. For classical guitar: Aaron Shearer method, the R.C.M. grades 1-10 and scale book and supplementary exercises not in the books (eg, 120 Guiliani studies for guitar).
I try to figure out what the student's objective is and try to come up with a plan for him to achieve it. We will always be working together at your desired speed.
Theaching is lovely work for me. Because you pave the way for learning music. You can grow up a musician who is your successor. And of course you learn more at the same time. i approach to stuudent so patioantly. Because The student should be traunqil.
I train the ear so you don't require notation to play music. I can also teach by notation but would rather train your ear first.
I base my teaching strategies off those that have worked for me, and then adapt them to each individual's needs.
Each person has specific skills and challenges. I discover these and then work with the student to develop confidence and skill in an encouraging environment. We explore breath control, warm ups, technique, physical and emotional awareness to learn to let the sound flow through us in a beautiful way.
I provide the necessary material (a manual written by me) teaching chords, arpeggios, scales and soloing from the study of musical pieces of various kinds in order to immediately put into practice what learned. I give customized lessons based on the needs and wants of each student.
My first classes with the individual is to see what the student knows and is capable of doing. From that if the student is taking a particular subject or curriculum, I create/bring work to help them improve and achieve their academic goals. The various works I may bring include test, games (depending on the age), quizzes and readings that I will do with them and many more.
I will tailor my lessons to the needs of the student! We will spend a couple classes figuring out what learning strategy is best for the individual and go from there! Lesson/learning/pracrice plans will be created and provided for student.
My teaching style is based in the belief that perfect doesn’t exist, and that my goal as a teacher is to help you reach whatever goal you have set for yourself. Should you not know what that goal is, no problem! I’ll work with you to find out where you want to go with your music! Everyone is always learning, and, that includes myself.
I'm a passionate musician and full time music teacher in Strasbourg. The cornerstone of my teaching method is improvisation. I progressively add bricks of knowledge to expand the musical playground. I compose pieces (all styles) centered around particular theoretical concepts, and encourage students to add their own modifications as they go.

Hello! I'm Pablo, I am a professional guitarist and music teacher. I'm from Argentina, where I went to school (guitar, composition, improvisation, audio production) and I developed my experience as a teacher.
Teaching is centered around two types of practice, which allow students to evolve independently and easily in any conditions, and quickly: - Learning chords, scales, etc ... : key element of the strengths of confirmed guitarist, scales, chords, are the basis of the music. Here it is not a question of theory, but visualization, direct understanding of the instrument.
I try as much as possible to adapt to what my student is yearning for while keeping the necessary rigor to develop the musical project. Music in itself is demanding, only in proportion to the openness it brings to the player, beginner or experimented.
Firstly the course will obviously be customized to the tastes of the student. Then the course will be divided into different parts: The pure technique of the instrument, the practice where one or more songs will be played, and if desired improvisation, and even recording, mixing under home studio, where the composition ...
Regardless of the genre, I usually work with main concepts for "healthy vocalization", namely "support", body and balance, vocal placement and "projection", as well as for psychology and musicality. .
