About Sam
A little more about me - next year I will be starting an astrophysics honours project. Not quite rocket science, but nearly! I am new to high school tutoring, but have helped run first year physics tutorials at UNSW. I have also volunteered as a science peer mentor for first year UNSW students, and I have a background in swimming teaching - so explaining tricky concepts is something I can do.
I graduated dux of my high school in 2015, and since then have achieved high results in my university courses. As a physics major, I have taken many physics courses and am very comfortable with the topics covered in the high school and HSC syllabuses.
I'm sure I can help you out with whatever barriers are stopping you from achieving your best in physics.
Delivery options:
Either via internet (webcam, using online learning tools) or in person (on UNSW campus or nearby).
I also offer tutoring in:
Mathematics | Biology | Science (Years 7-10) | Python programming

Hello!
I am in my fourth year of studying Advanced Science (Honours) and Computer Science at UNSW. I major in physics and love all things STEM. I think there is a wonderful *click* moment where science goes from being a confusing set of rules to a new way of thinking - and I want to help everyone have that lightbulb moment.
When it comes to maths and science, I think that being told about a topic can only get you so far. You learn best by doing, not by reading or watching - so I make sure all of my students get plenty of practice at solving problems. I also aim to be friendly and approachable to all of my students so that they always feel comfortable asking me questions. I struggled in high school when I felt I couldn't approach a teacher, so I strive to make sure that this is not the case with my students!
