About Parker
I am a grade 11 student, with straight As. I am a dedicated learner myself. In my free time I lead my school's newspaper as editor-in chief and lead a youth non profit.
I belong to an organization called Power in Youth, a youth non-profit that seeks to alleviate food insecurity. By enrolling as my student you are supporting that goal. As a high school student, we understand the current curriculum taught by teachers. What children are expected to learn at their age group and how to structure a lesson so that it can be applied purposely in the real world. Through once a week lessons your child will see improvements in their English.
I teach primarily elementary and middle school kids, which I have experience in tutoring. I am Cantonese and I can speak fluently in the language. Furthermore, I have strong conversational skills in Cantonese and Mandarin for ESL students and parents.
If you would like in person, I live in Langley. Otherwise, I teach over Google Meets
What a 1-hour class looks like:
30 Minutes Essay Writing or Reading Comprehension.
15 Minutes Vocabulary Improvement.
15 Minutes Speech Development or Read A Loud.
