About Layla
I am a student at university pursuing a degree for my passion, I will soon know my passion and declare my major, but for now, I know that I have been in many people's shoes. Going through grade, middle, and high school and balancing everything along with school work. I have empathy for students going through their education feeling like they cannot get tutor help. That is why I can use my experience of going through the process and give helpful tips with classwork, test prep, or just good habits to balance school, work, and social life. Believe me, I am still in the shoes of a student and would like to just reach out and help others too.

Tutoring should not be scary or boring but should be extremely helpful and with that, my method involves teaching lessons with application to the real world. My methods include auditory and visual learners in a way that a student should always leave a session feeling anything but confused.
A typical lesson would involve both lecture-type explanation, practice of the lesson, and then discussion-based type conversation of the topic. These lessons are for students late in grade school up to high school who would like help with their English or math work.
