About Cody
I’ve worked as a nuclear reactor intern in college, a sound system and lighting engineer in Jamaica, and finally an acoustician in New York. Understanding the concepts of physics such as particle physics, optics, and acoustics have helped understand the world around me and equip me with the skills needed to approach all these different professions. Even in my hobbies such as skateboarding and furniture design, things like statics and dynamics help me hone in on my crafts, putting intention into my execution and improving my art. I hope I can show you all how applicable physics can be if you can relate it to the world around you.

The beauty of physics lies in the imagination of the concepts. The math is supplementary.
I find that most struggle with conceptualizing the invisible forces at play in any physical interaction, whether it’s force vectors, wave propagation, or particle interactions. Bridging these invisible Ideas to a tangible reality makes the math a lot more palatable and intuitive.
Fortunately, my education has spanned many branches of physics throughout my studies of atomic physics, electrodynamics, acoustics, and the many math courses I’ve had to take to supplement them. Throughout all of them, I’ve prioritized the learning the concept which is based in reality, followed by the math to explain it. This is much more intuitive than learning the math and trying to connect it to reality.
I hope I can help you see the beauty of physics and not be intimidated by the math in which it is described!
