About Alyssa

I am a dedicated singing tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and over six years of experience helping students develop strong, healthy, and expressive voices. My passion for vocal performance began early and grew through formal training, live performance opportunities, and ongoing professional development. Teaching allows me to share that passion while guiding others on their own musical journeys. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve worked with a wide range of students—children, teens, and adults—each with different goals and styles. I specialize in helping singers build a solid vocal foundation through proper technique, while also encouraging individuality and emotional expression. Whether students are aiming for the stage, studio, or personal enjoyment, I tailor lessons to help them succeed confidently. In addition to teaching, I continue to perform and study voice myself, staying connected to both the art and discipline of singing. This hands-on experience enriches my lessons and keeps my teaching methods current and relevant. I also draw from various genres, allowing students to explore styles such as classical, pop, jazz, and musical theater. My teaching approach combines structure, creativity, and support. I believe every voice is unique and deserves to be nurtured with patience and purpose. It brings me genuine joy to see students grow not only in skill but also in self-belief through music.

About the lesson

My singing lessons are designed for all levels, from beginners finding their voice to more experienced singers refining their technique. Each session is crafted to suit the student's vocal range, style preferences, and personal goals. Whether you're preparing for performances, auditions, or simply singing for joy, I provide a focused yet encouraging space to grow.

Key areas of focus include breath control, pitch accuracy, vocal tone, and performance presence. I also guide students through warm-up routines, ear training, and song interpretation to build a strong and sustainable vocal foundation. Lessons often include exercises tailored to the student's voice type and the genre they wish to explore.

As students progress, we work on expanding vocal range, increasing vocal stamina, and developing stylistic versatility—whether in classical, pop, musical theatre, or other genres. I believe in fostering both technique and expression, helping students connect emotionally with the music they sing.

With six years of teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree in music, I blend technical expertise with practical knowledge. My goal is to create a positive, motivating environment where students feel supported and inspired to discover the full potential of their voice.
