About Tiana

Hi, I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Voice Emphasis. I offer personalized voice lessons tailored to each student’s unique goals and style—whether you're a school beginner, a college music student, or an adult exploring your vocal potential. My teaching covers a wide range of genres, including classical, pop, movie songs, and folk music. I focus on nurturing each individual voice, helping students grow in both technique and self-expression. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and always built around safe, healthy vocal practices. I guide students through ear training, harmony work, and improvisation, alongside solid foundations in music theory. Building vocal confidence is at the heart of my approach. About the lesson

For *The Quartet Player* and *The Fiddler*, stage confidence begins with intentional practice that mirrors live performance. We focus on building inner belief through song choices that highlight each performer’s strengths—lyrical depth for the Quartet Player, bold rhythmic flair for the Fiddler. Microphone technique is introduced early, helping students master proximity, projection, and tone shaping for clarity and emotional impact. Breath control and diction drills are woven into each warm-up, ensuring voices carry powerfully without strain. Posture is key—students learn grounded stances that free the diaphragm, command space, and reduce nerves. Movement exercises, like walking rhythms and expressive arm motions, help internalize tempo and unlock expressive freedom on stage. Using curated playlists, students rehearse setlists that inspire and reflect their unique musical personality. We incorporate video feedback sessions to spotlight progress and refine stage presence in real time. Through mirror work and presence drills, each student learns to own the stage with calm energy and magnetic focus. We explore how small gestures and eye contact can captivate an audience as much as a soaring note. Vocal stamina apps support home practice and build endurance for longer performances. With every session, we nurture both technical mastery and fearless self-expression. By combining smart tools with soulful artistry, students transform nerves into poise and performance into personal connection. Confidence isn’t just taught—it’s lived, song by song, step by step.
