About Sanya
I’m a Physics tutor with over 7 years of experience and a MSc in Applied Physics. I specialize in guiding students through the fascinating world of optics and wave phenomena. From the behavior of light to the properties of sound and electromagnetic waves, I help students build a clear and deep understanding. My teaching style combines strong conceptual explanations with visual aids and real-world applications. I focus on topics like ray tracing, interference, and diffraction, making complex ideas more relatable and easier to grasp. Over the years, I’ve supported students in fields such as photonics, telecommunications, and imaging sciences. I use step-by-step guidance and interactive discussions to help them succeed in both theory and practical application. Whether you’re studying lenses, wave patterns, or fiber optics, I connect the math to the physical world. I also emphasize the technological uses of wave physics—from lasers to communication systems. My sessions are designed to support both academic goals and curiosity-driven learning. I enjoy seeing students gain confidence as they uncover how wave phenomena impact our daily lives. Each topic opens the door to deeper insight into how we see, hear, and communicate. For me, the joy of teaching comes from revealing the invisible patterns that shape our world. Understanding waves means understanding how we experience reality.

My teaching approach in Physics is gentle, reflective, and centered on real scientific inquiry. I focus on helping students explore how science works through hands-on experience. Topics like experimental design, data analysis, error propagation, and scientific reporting are part of our regular practice. We don’t just learn formulas—we understand how to apply them in the lab and in the real world. I guide students to think deeply about how measurements are made, what the results mean, and how to communicate findings clearly.
I work especially well with DIY Scientists and Curiosity-Driven Learners. I support them in discovering their own methods of investigation and building confidence in their thinking. Every student has a unique way of learning, and I make space for that. We use simple tools and real-world examples to explore big ideas. I encourage questions, creativity, and careful observation. Even mistakes become learning opportunities. My sessions create a calm space where students can think, reflect, and grow. Together, we discover how exciting it is to investigate the world through physics. Discover a new way to conduct experiments—one that is thoughtful, personal, and powerful.
