About Elowen
I have been teaching Physics for over 8 years, and I hold a BSc in Physics with Philosophy. I specialize in working with middle school students who are just beginning their journey into the subject. My lessons focus on introducing forces and motion in ways that are simple and enjoyable. I often use hands-on experiments that show how these ideas work in practice. Sports, rollercoasters, and everyday movement become perfect examples to spark curiosity. I believe that real-world connections make abstract concepts easier to understand. Many students find physics challenging at first, but I take pride in helping them overcome those difficulties. I create engaging problem-solving scenarios where they can apply what they’ve learned. This builds both confidence and understanding step by step. I also encourage questions and exploration to nurture scientific curiosity. My approach is patient, supportive, and adapted to different learning styles. Over time, students begin to see physics as part of the world around them. My goal is to make physics not only understandable but also exciting. Together, we’ll make physics fun, relatable, and inspiring for young learners.

My Physics teaching approach is based on reflection, patience, and practical inquiry. I encourage students to see physics as an exploration rather than a set of fixed answers. Lessons include experimental design where students plan their own investigations. Data analysis is practiced with simple, clear methods. Error propagation is explained gently so students gain confidence with uncertainty. Scientific reporting is introduced as a skill to communicate findings with clarity. I guide DIY Scientists and Curiosity-Driven Learners as they develop their own paths in science. Each student is supported in discovering their style of investigation. My sessions combine theory with practice to make learning meaningful. I believe mistakes are essential for growth. By reflecting on them, students improve their scientific thinking. Over time, they gain independence and confidence in conducting experiments. Physics becomes not just a subject, but a tool for discovery.
