About Abigail
I am a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice. My passion lies in ear training, harmony, and melody, and I love sharing the transformative power of music with my students. I teach a wide variety of styles, including classical, pop, jazz, blues, and movie singing, adapting lessons to each student’s goals and abilities. My approach emphasizes vocal training, theory, sight singing, and performance techniques. I enjoy helping learners develop confidence, expression, and technical control while exploring their unique musical voice. I work with school students, college learners, and aspiring professionals, guiding them toward both personal growth and performance excellence. Improvisation, composition, music history, and music technology are also integral parts of my lessons, enriching students’ understanding and creativity. For Suzuki-style learners, I integrate structured repetition and listening techniques to reinforce accuracy and musicality. Music majors benefit from deeper analysis of phrasing, harmonies, and interpretation, enhancing their performance readiness. Tools like backing track apps, lyric trainers, and pitch analyzers are used to support practice and self-assessment.
