About Devin
I hold a degree in Women's and Gender Studies (or Feminist Studies) from Eastern Michigan University. I am especially knowledgable in feminist philosophy, ontology, and methodology.
I love teaching Standpoint theory, Black Feminist practice, critical theory, and helping to understand complicated texts!
I also have specialties in creative writing and poetry. I am a scholar of religious studies: specifically African, Indigenous, and folk religions including spiritism and spiritualism. And I have been trained in the theory and research practices of the social sciences more broadly as anthropologist and geographer.

I can also help proofread papers, or guide questions and analysis of a given topic. I am understanding, kind, compassionate, and non-judgemental.
I would prefer to help undergraduates in feminist theory, religious studies, anthropology, geography, critical theory or poetry.
