"My teaching method is designed to empower singers vocally and mentally. With a foundation in Communication, Creativity, Cultural Sensitivity, and Accountability, I help students become expressive, resilient, and technically sound vocalists.
Communication is at the core of everything we do. Every voice is different, and every student learns in their own way. That’s why I begin each lesson by understanding your goals and experiences. I offer detailed, practical feedback that you can immediately apply, and I encourage dialogue so that lessons feel like a true partnership.
To spark excitement and individuality, I lean into creativity. We’ll experiment with tone colors, melodic phrasing, and even songwriting elements. I often bring in visual or physical prompts—like acting techniques or imagery—to deepen your emotional connection to the music.
Cultural sensitivity ensures our musical journey is respectful and expansive. I incorporate pieces from multiple traditions and encourage awareness of context, meaning, and pronunciation. This builds not just vocal flexibility, but empathy and musical intelligence.
Accountability means we track progress in a way that feels supportive and motivating. I help students create customized vocal routines and reflect on milestones. Whether preparing for an exam, an audition, or just singing for joy, you’ll know where you are and where you’re going.
