Hi there! I'm an English tutor with over 10 years of experience and an MA in English for Specific Purposes. My favorite way to teach English is through the things you already love—video games, memes, internet culture, and all things digital. Whether it's understanding gamer slang or navigating Reddit threads, I use real-world online content to make lessons engaging and meaningful. I focus on helping you develop strong listening skills and cultural awareness while picking up the kind of English people actually use. We work on vocabulary for ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor descriptions. We also explore how to share food stories, write restaurant reviews, and follow complex recipe instructions in English. With each lesson, you’ll build speaking confidence and listening skills that are practical and fun.
I love working with Travelers and Hobbyists who want to express themselves clearly in cafés, markets, or dinner conversations. You’ll also learn cultural tips, idioms, and conversation starters related to food and hospitality.
Our lessons might take us into street food stalls in Bangkok, bakery menus in Paris, or a food blog about home cooking in New York. We’ll talk, write, and listen with purpose.
