About Avery

I’m a singing tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Studies. My work centers on cultural music traditions, and I’m passionate about helping students explore the rich vocal worlds of Flamenco, Hindustani Classical, Celtic Folk, and African Spirituals. These traditions offer more than melody—they carry deep history, emotion, and meaning. In my lessons, we focus on vocal ornamentation, microtonal expression, and traditional scales that bring each style to life. I also teach oral transmission techniques, guiding students to learn by listening, imitating, and feeling the music in their bodies. I believe singing is a powerful way to connect with heritage, language, and identity. Many of my students come seeking that deeper connection, and I create a space where culture and creativity meet. Whether you're honoring your roots or exploring global styles with curiosity, I’ll help you build both skill and understanding. We work on control, tone, and storytelling, while staying true to the spirit of each tradition. My goal is to help you develop vocal artistry that’s authentic, expressive, and deeply grounded. About the lesson

My singing lessons are designed to bring out your true voice while making the learning process exciting and supportive. I focus on building strong foundations in pitch, tone, and breath control, but I also love going beyond the basics.

We explore harmony singing, microphone technique, and vocal improvisation to help you feel confident both in solo and group settings. For students interested in Pop or R\&B, I teach stylisation tools like vocal runs, riffs, and expressive phrasing.

Each lesson is tailored to your needs and level. I support adult beginners who may feel nervous at first, offering a calm, encouraging space to build skills step by step. I also work with advanced teens who are ready to push their sound and performance further.

We focus on both technique and feeling—because great singing is not just about control, it’s about connection. I use real songs and creative exercises to help you grow as a singer and performer.
