About Betty
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy seeing my tutees make progress and develop a passion for subjects they once found challenging. From my own experience, I explored many different study methods — from writing extensive notes to flipping through piles of flashcards — before I truly understood how to learn effectively. I would love to make this journey easier for you and help you achieve your academic goals! A little bit about me: I am currently studying Medicine in Dublin. Outside of my studies, I enjoy going on long runs and walks.

I have several years of tutoring experience and I am highly motivated to ensure that my tutees gain the maximum benefit from each lesson.
My typical lesson structure begins with an introductory presentation of the topic, combined with example questions to keep the content relevant and engaging. I then focus on exam-style questions, using IGCSE and IB past papers to familiarise students with the format and expectations. Finally, I conclude with a summary quiz (using platforms like Quizlet or Kahoot) to reinforce key learning goals and provide students with materials to support active recall between lessons.
