About Nibir
Hi! I am Nibir, an English tutor and a writing advisor.
I enjoy teaching. There is a certain satisfaction that can only be derived from watching a sprout grow into a plant after putting time and effort into nurturing it. I experience similar satisfaction from watching my students grow in confidence and competence through my classes.
My love for teaching is rivaled only by my love for fantasy; so, if you are a fellow fan of the genre, you are in for a blast!
Apart from tutoring and studying, I help writers and creators develop their story plots and outlines. I find designing characters, developing storylines, and defining world mechanics incredibly enjoyable and rewarding.

- My classes are interactive and I encourage my students to ask questions whenever they require. Both online and offline classes usually last for 1 to 1.5 hours each.
- My aim is to help each student become fluent in English and develop good comprehension, effective writing, and confident communication skills.
- After assessing the requirements of a student, I draw up an individualised lesson plan and communicate the same to the parent/guardian. After regular intervals, I conduct assessments to understand the progress of the student and make necessary adjustments if required.
- In addition to the regular classes, I also provide supplementary materials or exercises for better understanding of the topic(s).
- I conduct all my classes in English but can also use Bengali or Hindi if necessary.
- I usually teach students at the primary and secondary levels but I welcome students from all age groups if they are interested in learning spoken English or story writing.
